After a week of hard work, let your weekend begins with a brunch that will console you and delight your day. 7Dish Café concentrates their efforts on creating themselves as the first place to have brunch that comes to people’s mind during weekends.

It is located at a conspicuous position at Sutera Mall, which is just the right side of the main entrance of the mall.

Golden Fusion

After a busy day, Golden Fusion might be the right place for you to put a ‘full stop’ for the day. This cafe is more suitable for working adults, people who wants to spend their leisure time or to have supper. Not forgetting, Singaporeans should not miss the chance out before they leave JB to Singapore as the causeway link is right beside this cafe, so you need not have to worry missing your chance of boarding the bus!

New York Garden Cafe

New York Garden café has become our next destination as we have been recommended for its variety of food choices. We were told that, no matter how picky you are to the food, you will be satisfied when you have been to New York. The outlet that we visited is located at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah. It has two shop lot which will be enough to fit the customers during peak hours.

Yew’s café & bistro

If you are looking for a quiet place to chill up and pursue leisure lifestyle, Yew’s café & bistro may be your choice. It is located nearby a petrol station; you can make a move to the cafe after refilling your car. It is a simple shop lot, which has been operating for many years in Perling area.

The Hot

The Hot is a café that located near Sutera Utama, it is quite noticeable by its eyes catching logo and signboard.

Step in to the shop, we found that the interior is spacious, and it is well-lighted due to the French windows. In addition, the tables and chairs placing are sufficient to fit the crowd during lunch time and uncrowded like some of the cafes.

LaStrada Coffee

If you have lost of idea of where to find a relaxing or a place to do your work, look at this café!

This is our first visit to this café. We knew this café through one of our friend recommendations. From the outer look of this café, the name makes it have a classy feeling which makes us more excited to explore the interior design of the cafe. 

Union Fashion Bar (UFB)

UFB is a restaurant that rolled all the concept of brasserie, café and bar into one. Although with the name of ‘bar’, the atmosphere decorated is not a place that just for drink, but also suitable for parents to bring their children here and have dinner together.

Cafe Selatan

Finding for a cheap, nice and quality western or asian food? Cafe Selatan has everything you want! This café is operated by a group of friendly Malays. This café always manage to serve food at a short period of time. Therefore, if you are rushing to have an ambrosial dinner, we strongly believe and recommend that this is the best place for you, other than those fast food restaurants. 

The arrangement and design of the shop is simple, and they split up into two section which you can choose to either sit inside or outside of the shop. You are able to spend you time sitting there and enjoy the cool breeze that gently touches your cheek.

Bloom by Mokmok

People nowadays are living in such busy, stressed and polluted city; either by air or noise. Today we are going to present you a café that will bring to you a scene of serenity, where you can relax and enjoy beautiful flowers.

The name of this cafe is Bloom by Mokmok. This café is strictly halal - no pork no lard.

Barn81 Café

We believe that many people should like some theme parks such as Disney. Cute mascots and foods in the theme park must be very appealing. But how many theme café do you know in the Johor Bahru? So today we are going to introduce you to a delicious and lovely theme cafe. 

We are going to introduce the Barn81 cafe. The location of this store is inconspicuous, it may not be easy for everyone to find.  

Sugar on top

In the past few months, delicious desserts have become a big part of the current food trend in Johor Bahru. As more and more desert shops spring up in the area, crowds flock towards these shops, being tempted to have a taste of these deserts. Talking of delicious matcha cake, we must not forget SOT. What is SOT? A habitual drunkard? No! SOT actually means Sugar on top. ‘We Are Not Crazy Just SOT’ is the slogan of the cafe. Their unique ideas and craziness have reflected on their food, displaying their uniqueness and courage to be different from others. 

It’s not a joke! This store is also crowded during busy times. 

Anmour Café

Trying to find a place that serves scrumptious Western food after having the same meals over and over again in your university cafeteria or your working place? Anmour Café is the place to go to! Currently having several operating branches located all around JB, this café has become a new favourite among Johoreans. They serve various choices of pasta, steaks and burgers. 

Summer Café

If you look carefully, you will find one hidden café at the corner lot which is a bit hard to notice it. This is Summer Café, it is generally known by the residents staying in Taman Perling.

Roost Repurposed and Recycled Café

This café at first did not successfully caught our attention because the ground floor only seems to have a small counter and the shop does not seems visual appealing. We took a walk down the street, but all the shops seems to be packed, so we decided to enter into Roost café.

While we are ordering, we found out that there was a flight of stairs for customer to walk up. So basically, ground floor was for ordering and you have the option to choose to dine-in.

HAVN Café

It is unbelievable that this café was an ordinary factory located in SME Industrial Park, Kulai, a few years ago. Due to what we mentioned, its indoor area is really larger as compared to the ordinary cafes at shop lot or malls.
