Golden Fusion

After a busy day, Golden Fusion might be the right place for you to put a ‘full stop’ for the day. This cafe is more suitable for working adults, people who wants to spend their leisure time or to have supper. Not forgetting, Singaporeans should not miss the chance out before they leave JB to Singapore as the causeway link is right beside this cafe, so you need not have to worry missing your chance of boarding the bus!

This café is currently operating in a corner of Giant supermarket. During daytime, they do their business indoor while when the night falls, they will add tables and chairs for people to enjoy the night scenery at the road side.

With the colourful and visual appealing menu, we are ‘stuck’ in choosing our food from this varieties of western food.

TIRAMISU ICE BLENDED (RM10.90), LAYER MILK TEA (RM4.60)
One of their specialty is Tiramisu Ice Blended, a must try among all beverages! It has a thick and strong coffee taste. If you would like to stay awake, this is recommended as 'a coffee a day keeps your drowsiness away', but remember, do not overconsume caffeine as it may results in gastrointestinal upsets and muscle shakes. (Horrocks & Pounder 2006).
Layer milk tea is a famous drink in Malaysia. It is made up of 3 layers which consist of palm sugar, evaporated milk and pure tea. When 3 are mixed together, the taste lies more on the palm sugar which makes it unique as it infused in the tea. This drink will make you feel refreshing, after a whole long stretch of working hours.

CHEESE HAM SANDWICH (RM8.80)
Does this look boring and nothing special to you? Same to us! The first bite proves us wrong and we learned that we should not judge based on one looks. The bread is toasted and its crispy! Combining with their special mayonnaise sauce makes it taste so special.

CARBONARA SPAGHETTI WITH CHEEZY CHICKEN CHOP (RM19.80)
This plate of redolent carbonara have rather complicated combination of taste. The spaghetti itself taste creamy and there is a strong garlic taste and it’s savoury too.
Apart from that, the chicken chop is crispy and the cheese sauce works well with the fried chicken chop.
As an overall, we think that the price is a bit too expensive based on the quality of food and there are much room of improvement that this café can do to enhance their food taste and quality.
