Anmour Café

Trying to find a place that serves scrumptious Western food after having the same meals over and over again in your university cafeteria or your working place? Anmour Café is the place to go to! Currently having several operating branches located all around JB, this café has become a new favourite among Johoreans. They serve various choices of pasta, steaks and burgers.

Singaporeans, take the opportunity to enjoy the delicious food at this cafe. Its near to the Causeway Link bus stand next to supermarket. The cafe is located within 4 minutes driving distance and 6 minutes walking distance. However, due to the busy traffic around the area, driving is recommended for safety purposes.

As for the interior design of the cafe, we love it very much because of the classy design along with the pretty cool poster that brings out the daring yet mysterious style of the café too.

Anmour café is pretty generous as plain water and fluffy buns with two types of sauces are provided for free. They currently provide 2 choice of sauces, a mushroom sauce and a peppery sauce which contains beef. We would highly recommend the beef flavoured sauce as it tastes much more flavorful as compared to the mushroom sauce which is slightly bland. Isn’t it cool that all these are provided on house?

SALTED EGG YOLK CHICKEN CHOP (RM16.90), CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE (RM8.90)
If you are a lover of salted egg, we believe that you will love this! The meat is tender and juicy, and it smells awesome! Nonetheless, we have chosen potato wedges and coleslaw as our side dish, but you can also choose other side dishes from a variety of options such as mashed potato, potato chips, salads or spaghetti noodles. The coleslaw was not very fresh, but the wedges were quite crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. We think that providing choices of sauce for the wedges would be a good improvement. As for the chocolate milkshake, we think that there is much room for improvement as well.

CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE (RM7.90)
Of course, dessert is a must-have after a meal! This chocolate fudge cake was not up to our standard and is rather little disappointing because the cake was a little dry but if combined with the vanilla ice cream provided, the ice cream was able to bring out the thickly sweet flavours of the cake.

Overall, we are quite satisfied with the food, but the wait for the food was a little too long. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time in this wonderful café as the staff were very friendly.
