New York Garden Cafe

New York Garden café has become our next destination as we have been recommended for its variety of food choices. We were told that, no matter how picky you are to the food, you will be satisfied when you have been to New York. The outlet that we visited is located at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah. It has two shop lot which will be enough to fit the customers during peak hours.

As we stepped in to New York, we got to find our seats and settled down in a few minutes. The interior design of New York is mostly based on simplicity concept.

The thing that caught most of our attentions is the wall paint of the Statue of Liberty. This has linked to the name of this café by using this symbol of New York city.

The theme of the café is also emphasised again through the menu's cover page.

Flipping through the menu, you will discover that you are able to settle your three meals of one day here.

For the bread only, New York provides a wide range of choices in three main categories, which are toast, French toast and sandwiches.

The classic local dishes like nasi lemak and curry mee are also available here to brighten your day.

As you heard the word ‘café’, what is the first dessert that will come to your mind? The answer will mostly be waffles.

Besides, the Malaysian national dessert, ‘ice kacang’, is also available at New York. It is a good choice for you to visit here to have some snacks and dessets even when it is teatime.

HAM & CHEESE WRAP ROLL (RM11.20)
We had chosen the wrap roll to fill our stomach as wrap is healthy despite of the little expensive price which people do also recognize healthy food is expensive than unhealthy food (Haws, Reczek & Sample 2017). However, the portion is a bit too small for us to treat it as a dinner. Overall, the taste of the wrap roll is just nice with the freshness of vegetables, the richness of its flavour and ingredients.

CURRY MEE HOON & MEE (RM8.40)

Another dishes we had tried is the curry mee hoon mee. We did so as be persuaded by the label of ‘chef recommend’ on the menu. Without any disappointment, the curry soup is really nice with the fragrance that inspired our taste buds. It is totally different as compare to the ordinary curry mee we had tried before in our life.
From a rational point a view, we think that the price of the foods served at New York is reasonable and it is worth for a try.
