Accompanied by the fervour
of bubble tea that sweeping across Asia countries, the newly founded brand, Chatto,
has entered the market of Johor Bahru recently. The latest store is located at Taman
Sutera Utama and it was just opened in the month of August this year. Holding
the spirit of trying new things, we cannot wait to have a visit to Chatto. Once
we arrived at the main entrance of Chatto Supa, we were impressed by the visual
impact of their Japanese style design.
Step in the shop lot of Chatto
and you will be able to order your food and beverage at the counter. It was
hard for the people like us who are having the first visit to decide what to
order from the attractive menu. Thanks to the friendly staff who recommended the
menu to us earnestly.
The whole interior design
of Chatto Supa is accordance with Japanese Zen setting. From our opinion, it
has successfully created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for us to enjoy our
food at the same time.
There is an ‘outdoor area’
at the deepest point of the shop, placing a few comfortable small couches for
the customers to enjoy the greenery environment.
The floor is covered by white
colour pebbles to make the outdoor sense more vibrant.
KEE
MUN PEARL MILK TEA (RM 8.90)
WHITE PEARL MILK HOJICHA (RM 8.90)
Come to the food served
here, all the teas on their menu are potential to be a rather worth-trying item
in Chatto. Out of our expectation, they are all come in the same price, which
is RM8.90, indifferent to the flavours.
CHARCOAL
PEARL ORGANIC OOLONG (RM 8.90)
Have you ever been tried
to drink something in grey colour, which is quite frightening from its appearance?
Chatto has launched the charcoal oolong that is considered as a fresh and new
type of bubble tea in Malaysia. Almost all of the visitors will not miss this
charcoal oolong in Chatto. Unlike the bubble tea sold at other stores, Chatto
provides all the healthier choices for the customers with the less sugar and
less ice bubble tea.
CHATTO
5 IN 1 BIG COMBO (RM 15.90)
Furthermore, if you
feel like grabbing some snacks to fulfil your appetite during teatime, Chatto 5
in 1 big combo is also a good choice. Inside the box, there are fries, chicken
nuggets, chicken popcorn, fried tape and takoyaki. Although it is a bit
overpriced for us, it is still worthwhile to have a try. Unlike fried food in
normal stalls, the food inside the combo box is fried and sold on the spot.
Therefore, we got to taste the fresh delicious with the value of money.
At Chatto, you need not
to worry about your ‘stomach problem’ at lunch or dinner hour. It is because
other than tea, Chatto also serves Japanese bento set and various flavours of
Japanese fish-shaped cake (taiyaki). However, in accordance with the rule of
first come first serve, you need to be an early bird to come in for a box. It
is a pity for us as we failed to catch the last box of bento on the day we
visited.
We are keen
to make up for our regret by viewing the photos that the officially published
on Instagram. We plan to try our luck to taste the bento next time.
As conclusion, we highly recommend those Instagram constant users to drop a visit to Chatto Supa as all the nice photos are potential to be taken here while enjoying the nice foods.
