Bev C'afe

This is an inconspicuous and retro café in Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. Bev café can be said is a café that unlike a café. Why do we say that? Because at the moment you open the door, what you can see is not the customer sitting at the table enjoying their coffee, but exquisite clothing.

Bev C initially was a retail store selling fashionable cloths or bags but they double up their service as a café over level 2.

We seated at level 2, the place was small and limited. It could not really fit in group of people that are more than 6. More suitable for couples or friends of 2 to 3.

Let’s look at their food.

CHOCOLATE MINT PIE (RM16.00)

The mint filling was rich in taste and there were also several pieces of dark chocolate inside. The charcoal crust was delicious, but it was a bit hard to cut and the baked cookie on the pie was very crispy.

EARL GREY CHOCOLATE CAKE (RM16.95)

The earl grey chocolate cake was a dome shaped with bright glossy coatina. Above the surface were a few lavenders and when we cut the cake, inside was a thick dark chocolate sponge cake with a peanut butter core. 

TRIPLE CITRUS (RM16.00)

A fruity sparkling drink that mixed with grapefruit, lime and lemon mint leaves. The sweet and sour taste stimulaty our appetite and it is known that citrus beverage contains numerous type of bio-active compound (Martí et al. 2009). What made us feel special was that they have suspended the butterfly pea in the ice cube to make vivid colour. Good to beat the summer heat with this!
